State of the art web applications

You can connect your web application based on Angular, .NET and many other web frameworks to ZITADEL with any OpenID Connect library. The description of the libraries provided by ZITADEL can be found in the documentation.

Native applications

If you have a native or thick client application you can integrate ZITADEL via an OpenID Connect library which is available for the technology on which your application is based. If your application cannot be made accessible for ZITADEL this way we recommend connecting using an identity aware proxy.

APIs

Create a service account in ZITADEL and connect your API to ZITADEL using a standard OpenID Connect library.

Identity Aware Proxy

Services which cannot be integrated directly with ZITADEL can instead be connected over identity aware proxys or web application firewalls (WAF). Examples of this approach include NGINX or Ambassador.
